What body parts can body sculpting treat?

What is Body Sculpting?

​

Body Sculpting is the use of non invasive techniques to reduce stubborn fat pockets, tighten loose skin and reduce cellulite on targeted areas of the body enhancing your natural physique.

Does Body Sculpting destroy the fat cells?

​

No, it does not destroy the fat cells. You cannot destroy fat cells they are with us for life, but you can empty them and cause them to shrink. This means that the cell is capable of storing fat again. This is why a proper diet, lots of water, cardio and subsequent body contouring sessions are important.

What kind of results will I get with Body Sculpting?

Results will vary from person to person.

Results you will see are:

1. Firmer and tightened skin and reduced cellulite because of new collagen and elastin being formed.

2. An overall firmer appearance

3. Reduced circumference in the treated area due to fat cells releasing

How many treatments do I need and how often?

​

Usually you will see a difference after 3 complete sessions. Optimal results are seen between 6 - 10 sessions. 

Depending on your treatment plan, plan to come in 1-2 times per week.

How long is the body sculpting session?

​

Sessions typically take between an hour to two hours depending on the services being performed.

Who can not receive body sculpting treatments?

​

  • Pregnant

  • Breastfeeding

  • Recent C-section

  • People with pacemakers or defibrillators

  • Cardiac or Cardiovascular disease

  • Metal Implants

  • Serious health conditions

Pre-Session Recommendations

​

  • Avoid eating 2hrs prior to session

  • Drink at least 1L of water 2-2.5L 24hrs before session

  • NO caffeine, sugar, salt or fatty foods 24hrs before session

  • Come in loose fitting clothing and bring your compression garments

Post-Session Recommendations

​

  • Avoid heavy meals on treatment day (NO greasy or fried foods)

  • Avoid alcohol while receiving treatments

  • NO caffeine, sugar or salt 24hrs after session

  • Avoid fasting or the body will go into "starvation mode" and become resistant to releasing the stored fat

  • Significantly increase water intake...NO WATER=NO RESULTS

How to speed up my results?

  • Intake more water, ideally 2L per day

  • Lymphatic drainage massage

  • Exercise

  • Eat a high fiber diet to include, leafy green vegetables

  • Wear compression garments daily

What is slowing down my results?

​

  • Poor diet

  • Sugar

  • Processed food

  • Lack of water intake

  • Lack of exercise
